Time for a quick update on what I have been up to: Apart from the never ending quest for a decent job, I have been working on Zentrack with Kato Wulf finishing off the last of the 2.6.x functionality ready for the leap to version 3.0. The main feature I am working on is
the addition of “Role” functionality so that users will have different levels of access to the application depending on their role. This is very similar in concept to database roles or Windows Server roles.
Also, I have been putting together a series of Flex “gotchas”. These are a series of posts dealing with some of those not so obvious problems that Flex sometimes throws in your path. Occasionally, even the help pages don’t point out the obscurity of some of the built in components.
And finally, over the last week I have been busy building a new blog about the Telecoms Revenue Assurance industry which I shall announce over the next week or two.
